A global financial advisory firm specialising in investment and pensions sought to expand its operations with a new regional office. With a presence spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, the company required a dependable IT partner to support a smooth and secure setup in its new location.
The challenge
Ahead of this move, the firm engaged Texaport to deliver expert IT consultancy and infrastructure services. A key deciding factor was our ISO 27001 accreditation – critical for organisations that manage sensitive financial data.
The expansion was delivered in two phases, beginning with a temporary office setup before transitioning to a permanent space. With IT support previously managed internally by knowledgeable staff, there was an urgent need to professionalise and future-proof IT systems to reduce key-person dependency.
Texaport’s initial priority was to ensure a rapid deployment for the temporary premises. We supplied and configured the full office setup, including laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, and a dedicated video conferencing room – enabling seamless, secure communication with colleagues and clients worldwide.

When the company acquired its permanent premises, we were once again engaged to handle the full data and power infrastructure. This included cabling, switching, Wi-Fi, patch panels, and the installation of redundant internet connections to ensure maximum uptime. Two additional video conferencing suites were also configured to support global collaboration.
The speed of delivery stood out. Within a single lunch break, the full infrastructure was installed and fully operational. Staff simply moved from one location to another and resumed work without disruption – a testament to the meticulous planning and coordination behind the scenes.

As part of our ongoing partnership, Texaport strengthened the organisation’s cyber defences by implementing robust security controls and best practices, helping reduce risk and protect against the most common cyber threats.
We now manage a wide range of services on their behalf, including global IT support tailored to their international operating hours. All devices are patch-managed, monitored, and secured with cloud-managed antivirus, fully aligned with the client’s compliance standards.
We also oversee Microsoft 365 licensing and provide guidance to ensure the latest features and security protections are in place across the organisation.
